Why outdoors?
Nature has a calming effect
Being in nature can have a soothing and calming effect, which can help people feel more at ease during therapy sessions.
Increased physical activity
Outdoor therapy provides opportunities for physical activity such as walking, hiking, or climbing. This can help people engage in physical exercise and promote physical health and well-being.
Novelty and variety
Being outdoors can provide a novel and varied setting for therapy sessions, which can be particularly helpful for people who find it hard to connect in traditional indoor settings.
